A founder, chief executive of Eaglejet Aviation quits.

Eaglejet Aviation president and chief executive Cochise Rounds has resigned , the company announced Wednesday.

Rounds, one of three founders of the Newton- and Baltimore-based company, left to start another company in Dallas, said Jamie Pegg, acting chief executive.

Eaglejet employs six people and performs emergency maintenance on business jets.
