Eaglejet doubles in size
By Chris
Strunk
Eaglejet, a small start-up company
that moved into a new hangar at the airport in August, added three to its
staff recently and this week began work on its 100th aircraft. Added to the staff were Jeff Green, a mechanical systems expert; Laynne Burnett, also with mechanical systems expertise; and Ana Munoz, who will head the company's new cleaning department. "We've added depth to our organization," said Cochise Rounds, the company's president and chief executive officer. Both Green and Burnett are former Learjet employees. Jamie Pegg, an avionics systems specialist, and Andy Rusch, a mechanical systems technician, are the company's vice presidents. "Without these two individuals, Eaglejet would not exist," Rounds said of the company's partners. "They are the best Learjet technicians I've ever seen." The company isn't stopping with just doubling in size. It soon will hire additional staffers for its cleaning department and will add another technician to work with Challengers. The company also has been conducting off-site aircraft repair. Called "mobile repair parties," Eaglejet has completed a dozen this year in the central and western regions of the United States. |
